It is important to take use caution when cleaning your shoes; a machine wash will only damage the structure of your sneaker.

In this post, we'll show you how to safely clean ASICS sneakers using a sneaker cleaner. Extra bonus because the sneakers are not soaked in a cleaning solution, they can be worn immediately after washing.

Step-By-Step Instructions

The best way to clean your ASICS shoes with sneaker cleaner.

Step One:
To begin, dry brush the shoe. This will loosen the dry bonded dirt and allow the cleaning ingredients to penetrate the fibres.

Step Two:
Remove the loosened soil with your vacuum cleaner and a soft brush head. If you do this correctly, you should see that your sneakers change colour as you remove the loosened dust.

Step Three:
Use a sneaker cleaner that is specifically designed to not harm the mixed materials on your sneakers. Apply liberally to the shoe, ensuring that it is not soaked but still damp enough to work.

Step Four:
Using your medium brush, work the cleaner into the shoe. Instead of pressing too hard, use a gentle brush to agitate and loosen it. Reapply the application.

Step Five:
At this stage, we do not do the sole yet since we don't want to get the brush dirty. Proceed to the next sneaker, allowing the first shoe to dwell while we clean the second shoe.

Step Six:
Liberally spray the cleaner on the soles' whites.

Step Seven:
Use a medium brush to help the solution penetrate.

Step Eight:
Begin rubbing the fabric with your microfiber towel folded into a bun. The goal is to remove both the moisture and the dirt from the shoe. As the towel gets dirty, fold it over to the clean side and continue the process.

Step Nine:
Once you are certain that no more dirt is coming out of the upper shoe, begin wiping the sole.

Step Ten:
When you're done, the shoe should be completely dry because the microfiber towel absorbed the majority of the moisture.

Step Eleven:
Repeat the same process for the other shoe.
