We all know the feeling of permanent markers, aka “sharpies” scribbled across unintended surfaces in your home. What do you do? Is it ruined? Will it stain? Is it doomed for the trash?
Fortunately, this is not the case, and there is a simple solution to the problem. Even though permanent markers are permanent, they can be removed. Say goodbye to stains by following our step-by-step guidelines.
Steps to effectively remove permanent marker from most hard surfaces.
Step Two: Apply the Epoxy Residue Remover
Next, pour the epoxy residue remover over the permanent marker.
Leave for approximately 20 seconds. Judge the time by rubbing a small patch and seeing if the marker lifts.
Wipe away the marker. By this stage, 80% of the stain should have dissolved.
Warning: Be cautious of PVC-plastic surfaces. They will etch the surface if you leave them on too long.
Step Three: Apply No-Mac-Gel
Lastly, use the No-Mac-Gel to remove the final residue.
Pour the No-Mac-Gel over the stain and then wait for about 30 minutes.
Then, wipe clean and the permanent marker should be completely gone.
